North Korea won't

Dictators like Kim Jong-un are absolutely in love with power - and attacking the US would basically end his. The purpose of having nukes that can hit the US isn't remotely to use them, it's simply to ensure the US don't try to launch some attack that would remove him from power (anyone think the US would have attacked Iraq if they thought Saddam actually had nukes that could hit the US?)
