that is i've used it a little bit just to learn a little bit of Spanish - and the reason behind that was so i could maybe help the Scrampton Jnrs a little bit with their Spanish homework
if i was serious about learning the language i wouldn't recommend relying on it alone - but as an aid to learning a language through a more traditional route, i can see it working
my problem (only really knowing English) is that i really struggle with the concept of words having a gender - and, unless you click through to forums to look for it, Duolingo doesn't explain anything
