Signal quality at me Ma's is the lowest to cope with the picture

Fair enough it plays the channels, but once someone installs new tech like 5g or whatever, the picture drops.

Then they send someone out to tweak it till the weakest signal copes

Only good reason to stay on BT is the more packages you have, the more the benefits reward (eg discounted laptops and stuff, good discounts to be fair. £5 sim for 500mb + 1000 texts and minutes etc)

I'm not sold on their products though. You're probably right to find something else
