(c) Tywin Lannister, when instructing Joffrey
And yes, very much this.
Although there *is* a point that Jon is focused very much on the great war/war for the dawn, on the not unreasonable grounds that if they don't win it, everyone - literally everyone - dies. However Sansa's perspective plays better to the longer view - assuming they do win it, they will all need to live somehow afterwards.
So I agree with BWOD that both perspectives have validity, but also with Jon that the place to resolve that is between them and not in front of everyone else. But he should take her more seriously than he does: she's seen things he hasn't and while he has become an incredible warrior/commander, she has become very adept at politics and how to play people, learning from Cersei and Littlefinger.
In some sense at least she is as much Cersei and Littlefinger's daughter as Ned and Catelyn Stark's - arguably more so, in fact. Her decision - entirely understandable - to back up Joffrey's lies led to the death of Lady and to an extent the direwolves represent the Stark-like nature of each of them. Hers went first, and early.
I hope that Arya's reunion with Nymeria - which I do not expect to be straightforward at all - reconnects her with her Starkness, in a sense.
