From a wsc discussion
"Mark Bowen Norwich v Coventry in 1980something, after Bryan Gunn was sent off for dissent following a shocking penalty decision against Norwich (Speedeie dive, possibly), intimidated Brian Kilcline into shooting wide.
Sadly Coventry subsequently scored beating us 2 1. You have to wonder why we put one of our smaller players in goal.
At Bramall Lane in the '91/92 season Mr Gunn again gave the referee the benefit of his knowledge of the laws and was replaced by Darren Beckford, who was better at 'keeping than scoring, frankly. We lost 1 0. I went with friends from law school, we got chased out of the Cricketers before the game, making the defeat all the more bitter."
