You mean one particular immovable day? If so, no.
I used eBay in the same way I would anywhere else: I advertised and then potential buyers could contact me to arrange a day to view. You need to make clear, though, that they do so on the understanding that anyone could click to buy at any moment and then they lose out. If I remember correctly (was a good few years ago now) I removed the listing before a viewing only in return for receipt of a non-refundable deposit via PayPal.
