Holy cow I find myself agreeing with something Adams says
Professional footballers should not need motivating. I don't have to motivate my staff to do their jobs, they are reasonably well paid, they know whats expected of them and are adult enough to do their jobs what is so special about footballers. When I played village football we didn't need motivating. Slate Worthy for his transfer dealings his tactics and selections yes, but he should not be held accountable for players not being motivated, unless he continues to pick players who don't give their all.
