Has been on the fringes of the first team for a few years even though v young still. Path blocked by Wanyama then Romeu in the enforcer role. He is short, but tough…a rough diamond as he can like all enforcers go in a bit too recklessly at times.

I think regular football at yours is absolutely perfect. He is the sort that I could easily see kicking on an becoming a prem regular. Koeman didn’t like him and froze him out a bit, which I think set him back and he might have struggled to maintain a good attitude, but he certainly has the raw materials to do really very well for you.

You should be really pleased – I hope you are. I am delighted that he is going to good club like yours. Promising.
