Why people think this is a bad thing is absolutely beyond me.
Do people seriously think managers think , "you know what, he's a bit s**t but he kisses my arse, and that's more important than us actually playing other better players". Really? As if fans know better, and the managers - the succession of many managers - have simply all fallen for his charms. Unbelievable.
