Just got back from Earlham Park
And now I've come back again.
Great result. Belinda Carlisle and Jaki Graham looked great, both just delivered straight up hits, and what goose bumps enabling hits they were/are. Tremendous
Go West and Howard Jones were very disappointing; the former dropping 2x covers in to mask their dearth of acceptable crowd pleasing material, the latter being all bent up trying to appear cutting edge and an eternal futuristic innovator. Howard, it's an 80s festival pal. Do the hits and f**k off.
Dare I say the lads needed a hand.
Only heard Ure and Wilde as I was having my tea. Sounded ok from half a mile away.
Never thought I'd find myself singing every single word of a Bananarama set, but thats exactly what happened.
Then just a matter of Big Tony getting the lube out and ramming his big hits home. Consumate professional, I'm still strolling around muttering "a haha ha ha" a good event, would retro again.
