It should be the job of any full back to push on and support the winger

just as it should be the winger's responsibility to track back and defend.

Reading put on a masterclass in how this should be done when we played them, they were 2 on 1 in almost every attaking situation and murdered us.

Besides, it's not how our defence looks, it's the lack of protection that they get from the modfield that leaves them exposed that's the more serious issue here.

Also the amount of times that we give the ball away - this just leads to more pressure on us, it's common sense really. If you have the ball, the other team can't be putting pressure on your defence.

We need Leon back to defend from the front and also provide us with some options from throw-ins.
