I think Corbyn

is mendacious and incompetent and I think the Labour manifesto was economically illiterate (I might remind you that most of the parliamentary labour party apparently thought the same thing until they realised there might be votes to be won in keeping quiet).
But - I emphatically do not think that there are not serious problems that have not been addressed by this or previous governments and I do not think that the conservatives have provided anything like convincing answers.
my point was different - about conflict and division - and what I fear (for complicated reasons) is that something like a violent mob is forming; that is what I meant about agreeing with Jim - it feels like we're on the cusp of a dangerous moment, and I think - and this is where I think Corbyn/McDonnell are not wholly like their opponents - I think that the current Labour leadership is much more likely to encourage that sort of violent reaction - it's part of their political philosophy and background.
