It is default these days isn't it ? No reason to turn it off ever with today's storage....
Was annoying when we had slower computers writing to floppy disks or slow hard disks in Windows before it was genuinely multi tasking.
But these days, 64 bit, multi threading, fast IO. No reason to turn autosave off on anything.
