When he talks about the board, he is talking about current members being fans.
While mistakes were clearly made on the player acquisition front I find the following comment to be strange.
"You’ve got to have a better plan than we’ve had before, when we’ve sometimes spent money on over-age players who aren’t motivated to deliver."
I can only think of one slightly over age player we spent big money on and that's Naismith.
What other players approaching 30 did we splash on?
Most of those approaching 30 at the club have been here a while?
Our biggest wastes such as Van Winky and Vardis were young players.
Any clues?
