There's always naturally been a connection between
York and Lincoln cos of David Longhurst, but there's always been good times between the two teams anything (John Ward etc)
It's a shame they're not in the same league anymore. I even had some sentimentality attached to the fact York nearly got a point in the league, and now have a comprimise of the FA Trophy final after York won at Lincoln in that tie
