Getting dust out of the grooves and off the needle and then still having something that crackled etc. And the ease of scratching them. Rushed into town on the day "Wind & Wuthering" was released. Put it on the record player. Nudged the player with by mistake and scratched it immediately. Never heard it scratch free until I got a digital copy 30 odd years later.
Can't play vinyl in the car.
Ease of portability - I have about 300 albums on my phone to play when I'm out and about, with room for many more. In the old days had to copy vinyl to a C90 which held 2 albums.
Artwork is not really a consideration for me.
