...following season, all goes well, 6 point lead at top by Christmas, reject bid from Arsenal for Spillane, couiple of "wise old heads" recruited in January, win title at the proverbial canter, Worthington (now Glentoran manager) article in EDP "...glad to see the foundations I laid paid off for new man..."
