I had one once--
the wheels obviously go round as normal but there's no freewheel, ie, as long as the back wheel is rotating, so are the pedals. Think of it like a penny farthing set up but with normal wheels and rear wheel chain drive. No gears either. Not too much of a problem in Norfolk, but anywhere hilly is a bastard. Downhill you just have to pull your feet up and let it go. Put them down again in full flow however and it's a smashed leg. Fuck knows who'd want one.
