Canaries World "renewal".... in case others are stung...

As posted the other morning, I had £37.99 taken out of my account through an old direct debit for Canaries World subscription.

I've not actually subscribed for at least 5 years so it's a little bit puzzling why it decided to renew this year!

I e-mailed the address on the website and they got back to me quickly saying it had happened via "auto-renewal", which they had now cancelled and would refund the money to me. They didn't answer my question as to why it had happened.

Thought I'd share in case others had the same thing. It shows up on the statement as FL INTERACTIVE LIM.
