I think it's fair enough to show disapproval like that

it's easy after a sacking like Neil for everyone to be pretty happy and move on, but it's good for fans to show the board that they're not off the hook yet and need to make a series of good decisions to win back trust and support from the fans.

The season's gone and the result today is pretty irrelevant. It's the perfect time for letting the board know that the discontent goes deeper than just Neil.
