I'm not sure that Hodgson would be a good DoF
They tend to be ex-scouts and involved in recruitment etc. I think you have problems when they are more likely to interfere in playing matters.
I've banged on about recruitment for years so a good appointment in that area would be great. I have a funny feeling though that it might end up being Ricky M.
