Can we get Adams back for another go?
Not an entirely serious post but I think he was unfairly treated by fans and the board. We were having a bad run of results but playing good football and creating more chances per game than anyone else.
Neil's run to the play-off final was fantastic, but I think we were just as likely to finish in the top 6 as not had we stuck with Adams. The football he had us playing at the start of the season remains the best I've ever seen a Norwich team perform.
I have a friend who's a pro-gambler and analyses the Championship. He said at the time we sacked him that he was on a bad run of luck and we'd probably "revert to the mean" soon - reckoned by every performance metric he looks at there was no real improvement under Neil (except we got better results, which shouldn't be discounted!)

- The plan was that Joe Royle would mentor him. That may have worked, but probably not (n/m) (NCFC) - Higher Wrather, Mar 11, 00:11:49
