That's pretty much what was said to someone else several months ago
with the addition of the Ashton anecdote.
It seems to me that the board have essentially had enough but until he loses the dressing room* then he stays. A MASSIVE protest (of whatever form) might also tip the balance, but reading between the lines it seems they can accept a few hundred.
* I might argue that he lost the dressing room months ago - perhaps even last season - but there's not a powerful enough group there to express it openly. Hardly surprising when most of them owe their employment to him.
