£65m and 17 (I think) permanent signings, yet only three of them make the team.

Alex Neil is still relying predominantly on the team he inherited and there's only so long those players can keep producing.

That our front six yesterday contained just one player he has signed is a sad endightment of how awful the recruitment has been. I still cannot believe he was allowed to spend the money on Wildschut in January.

He is clearly trrying to build a squad with younger players the likes of which he did wonders with at Hamilton but this isn't the Scottish league and he doesn't seem to want to trust them to play in the Championship. Apart from Murphy that is who he has flogged to exhaustion this season.

If and when we move the dead wood out, I don't know how all these youngsters will fare having never had a chance up to now.
