Despite working alongside gi's for twenty years I've never been to the states.
The yanks in the air force always said 'they give the biggest guns to the stupidest people' meaning the lowest scoring in their entrance exam meant you could become a le - law enforcement or sf - security forces. Prett much all though were decent folk.
