We'd only be 5 points better off. Those 5 points come from only 2 games, both against Newcastle; we'd have won both. I'm not sure only two games from 33 is really much argument for lacking fitness, both times against the top team in the league. (We did concede a late goal against Leeds but then we had also just scored a late equaliser in that game anyway, so were losing on 80".)
More interesting to me is that teams in the play off positions *have* picked up points (Leeds are level) in the last 10 minutes. Reading and Huddersfield have got 13 (!) points (EACH FFS!) more in the last 10 minutes and Wednesday have a few as well.
