the main pick up/ drop off point in GY before Market gates was beside the ABC theatre just round the corner from Market Gates where costa Coffee is today and opposite the Theatre tavern pub but this was just for the Blue buses

The Red buses started at the bus station on St Peters Rd , where you could get on and off and at stops in the town

The red buses served the villages the blue buses within the town

but once deregulation came along it all changed

I would like to finish and say i am no bus freak or bus spotter just lived in GY all my life and you learn s**t like that especially as it was my only mode of transport in my youth
