Few thoughts
Fair result and an enjoyable game.
The levels of commitment and effort are a million miles away from where they were a few weeks ago and unfortunately a few players ran out of steam and we had nobody to replace them with.
Credit to Whitaker who did well.
Thought Tettey and Jerome were absolutely immense tonight as was Wes. the latter two could barely walk at the end. Bit of a worry if Nelson is out for any length of time given Laff is the backup and also was worrying when Dijks looked like he got a knock givennour lack of cover there.
our defence is still a liability from crosses and through balls and we conceded two poor goals tonight but they put their bodies on the line and will not face an attack of that quality most weeks.
Still hopeful for the playoffs.
Only major negative for me is Wildschutt looks a million miles from a £7m player so far. He looked unfit and not even that quick. Hopefully just needs time to settle in.
