A pub is not a pub unless it's been a pub for at least 100 years.

Those are the rules. Non negotiable, don't even try and argue a point, valid or otherwise.

Also a pub ceases to be a pub as soon as anyone refers to it as a f**king Gastro Pub. This rule supercedes the previous 100 year rule.
