this bit about season ticket sales

means nothing at this stage. All it means is they've had more renewals come in quicker than last year it doesn't mean to say that season ticket sales will end up higher. For the first time in several seasons I'm not adding a year to my three year ticket and I know at least a dozen who're doing the same. Net effect is that we're not going to pay our money up front to watch it spent on such talent as Andy 'according to Rick Waghorn, Shankly would've approved' Hughes. I wouldn't be taken in with some of the statements that come out of Carrow Road particularly with that one. After all if you wanted to encourage as many as possible to renew as quickly as possible you're hardly going to announce that sales are down.
