...the following is a reply to a Private Lives letter in the Guardian website. The letter writer wanted to know what she should do as after a year she had still not met her chap's son or any of his friends. One reader offered this as their advice, "It could be that his son is a ginger / Norwich City supporter / Tory / Brexiteer or any combination. Perhaps he's frightened that meeting his son will put you off him"..
