Yes, exactly.
I always felt Ashton wasn't going to stick around for long - he nearly kept us up, kickstarted Leon McKenzie's career, gave us a brilliant win over Man Utd, and scored 10 goals this season, then moved on for good money.
I wouldn't call him a 'legend' for the reason that he was always just passing through, but he was an amazing player for us and I'm grateful to him for it.
