Relegation didn't seem such an issue last season.

We presumed that we'd keep the squad together and have a decent chance of improving again. That hasn't quite panned out; I think combined with the fact that football itself is a bloated faecal mess, with the premier league a poisonous bubble of gas waiting to burst out of said matter in a horrific explosion of s**t and methane, BrexTrump and society's general state of hatred, there's not a lot left to feel happy about.

Going to the football used to be a way of escaping the state of the world. Now it's more of a reflection of it.
