The biggest thing I struggle with about AN
Is that Klose, clearly a player with some quality, has a couple of sub par performances and is never picked again. Bassong, Bennett - both with some quality at times but seemingly nowhere near that of Klose, can play poorly time and time again but continue to be picked. Which suggests this is much more about personality clashes than performance.
See also Russell Martin, Jacob Murphy, Robbie Brady, Dorrans as 'takes a lot to drop them' - and Pritchard, Canos as 'one bad game and never seen again'.
Know it's been said before but it really is staggering - it's not just the transfers that have been abandoned but the fact that there is real inconsistency. Seemingly a manager who can't deal with any difficulties or being challenged.
Still I'd take 2m for being rubbish at my job.
