The job of the board is to keep the club in business and maximise revenue to provide the manager with a competitive playing budget. They do that very well. They appoint a Chief Exec to run the club for them. The Chief Exec will reccomend when a manager should be sacked identify managerial candidates etc.
Delia doesn't choose which players to sign.
Delia doesn't coach the squad.
Delia doesn't select the team.
Delia doesn't decided upon tactics.
Delia doesn't make the substitutions.
Delia doesn't play football for Norwich City.
