I saw him play a few times
And I know I liked him as a player, but I couldn't tell you now what sort of forward he was. I remember that he had the Compleat Angler and I also have it in my head that he was a prison officer at some point. I think my father knew him. He was always billed as being the very first with those boots.
I think he was injured in pre season on 1971, he's in the team photographs but I don't think he got on the pitch.
That's a brilliant photo on the Pink Un site but so sad. We lost Terry Anderson so early. RIP Albert.
