yep, me too
especially as Sky have held themselves up to be 'cleaner than clean'
it might not be the wholesale doping that went on in previous eras, but the fact they were going down that route at all just doesn't sit right with their proclaimed ethos and, rightly or wrongly, naturally calls into question the near unbelievable improvement in British Cycling since 2000
i think the marginal gains explanation holds more water for track cycling as it is far more predictable for things such as aero-dynamics. throwing s**t-loads of money at road-cycling to buy up lots of very talented riders probably plays a bigger role in their success on the road
