Here's a question

When a terriost attack happens, an assassination or something truly horrific and appalling goes on in the world? Why does the news broadcast it non stop 24/7 coverage over and over?

But when this stuff happens everyday for 5 years in Syria it's a 5 minute segment and quickly forgotten about.
