Whart did Naismith do defensively then?

what does he ever do defensively?

When Wes plays as a number 10, he's often back in his own half, winning tackles, wanting the ball, setting up attacks (and sometimes giving it away).

Naismith isn't a number 10, or a winger. He's basically a really, really s**t striker.
