JJ2 is NOT a "signing", he's a frigging LOAN.
In other words, just a short term fix.
Fair enough to splash the cash on him if we had a realistic chance of the play offs, so the short term fix is a good idea, but we haven't a cat in hell's chance of the play offs. So what is the point??
