But that assumes that we go out and sign someone that can actually do a better job in that role than him.

Which we obviously didn't.

Same with the McCormack thing, we need a new striker and identify McCormack. We miss out on him. But instead of going for the next best option in that position, we sign Pritchard.

It doesn't make sense.
