it doesn't feel like xmas at all here

bar the fact that it was raining all night and has been drizzling all day - which is unseasonal in the extreme. The weather has been so tedious that I'm actually happy it's raining.

there are no xmas lights that I've noticed except for a small tree in the entrance of my building.

there must be other countries that have similarly crap christmases, but I'll be buggered if I've been to any of them
