Lafferty in terms of the comments about individual players. Basically said how he'd failed on loan twice and he didn't think he was the answer in terms of promotion. Not really great when he's one of only 3 senior strikers available but if that's his view then I would ask why Carlton Morris isn't making the bench instead?

He also made a comment about Brady's set pieces being better for Ireland (not sure if that was unprompted or in response to that view from the audience) than Norwich and we re-signed Whitaker because he was cheap and thought Brady was leaving (again slightly damning with faint praise). Not sure those two comments are too bad though.

Personally I didn't like the general vibe of "its not my fault its the players." that came across because i don't think its likely to improve his relationship with the dressing room but then I know others will differ on that and say the players do not need to be protected and should be taking responsibility.
