All this JAM stuff in the press - is it a new phenomenon.

Both my ex wife and myself worked full time and earned decent money but we were always overdrawn half way through the month and continually in debt to bank loans, mortgage and credit cards. It was manageable debt, but we certainly never had spare money and were never able to save for anything
