Phelan would have been a good choice. AN turned out to be excellent.
Now, sadly, things are spiralling out of kilter. Injuries to Howson and Pinto haven't helped AN's cause. Think it's 80% probable he'll be sacked before Christmas.
Hard to see us getting anything against Derby, who are definitely on the up now. BJ playing well again, it will be a tough one on Sat.
Having said that, if we did get something it would be a significant achievement and could feel like a turning point.
It's a real shame that Olsson will be out, when arguably Derby's most dangerous player is RW Tom Ince. Presuming Robbie Brady will play LB - really hope that he puts in in a disciplined performance.
