This the real test for England now
Can we do what India did and respond to a huge first innings score. Will be the true indicator of whether this side has grown as we hope it has.
The toss has become so crucial generally in test cricket but seems particularly so in the sub continent. It's a bit frustrating that mid way through the first day it already looks like it's going to be very hard for one side to win the match. Doesn't help when you drop their best batsman though.
