It goes like this...
The atmosphere is subdued rather than poisonous. Norwich make a bright start, squandering some early chances. *insert escape goat name here* gets sent off/makes stupid mistake (delete as appropriate). Norwich capitulate and lose badly/concede late goal and suffer agony of defeat (delete as appropriate). So it goes.
