PM AC re:Delia's
I had a lovely evening there yesterday. I think if you are looking for spectacular food, then it's probably not the best place to go. The food is nice and well cooked but it's not particularly innovative or special. But what I liked about the evening was the whole package. I like the way they look after you, from the moment they give you your pre-meal nibbles to your end of meal home-made chocolates, the services is excellent. I like the look of the restaurant too. It's very calm and stylish in an untrendy way. Like you, I hadn't been for years but I didn't feel it had dated at all. Also, I think it's good value - only £35 per person for all the food.
It's very like Delia I'd say, classic, unfussy, but reliable. So not exciting but perfect for a meal out with Mr Bwod's mum.
