I meet Grant Holt yesterday, as a result I really did not wash my hands yesterday.
Perhaps you may see the photos I am with Grant on my Facebook or twitter, but during the meeting it`s so memorable for me, it is Grant who mention me I always play 5-a-side as he saw some pictures, and I show him the video I play 6-a-side, and scored with his Rochdale no. 18 shirt on, we have a good laugh on that.
I always ask him is there any chance he will re-join Norwich after he was released by Rochdale? His reply was the club is going to the other direction, I feel his passion and desire from his words about he really want to come back as a player not coach. My personal view is: he really want to come back to play for this club again, but perhaps someone don`t want, that`s why someone get Cameron Jerome to sign a 3 years contract after 3 goal in a season.
Holty also reflect the season we go down last year, simply the new signings not working, he mentioned Mbokani, RVW, and I challenge him when Chris Hughton sign RVW in the record signing for us, but to replace him, how many goals he get for us? Holty said 2? And oh my! He get one! And I told Holty we only paid 750,000 to you, and you got us how many goals? 75 or 76? For the recording signings to scored one goal in his Norwich career, what a joke.
The meeting last for 15 minutes, Holty signed my Shrewsbury shirt, which I will use to play football in the coming year when I need to wear black color, take photo with me and Captain Canary, then he leave and go to pick up his 3 children after school.
Honestly it`s his private time, I also understand footballer only had to entertain fans on match day, and I should say he`s not Officially related to Norwich City Footballl Club, but he`s still manage to see me, that's one word -- legend.
Why the Holt`s are always nice and great to me? If I have a baby in the future, no doubt what kind of me I will give him...
