Eastwood update

Hello all,

Just thought I would offer an update on F Eastwood. Deal still likely to go through upon the sale of Francis.

Apparently, the club is hopeful of West Ham coming in for DF as well as Charlton, which should push his price up a bit.

It is worrying that Worthington appears to have a zero transfer budget before player sales. I know we are prudent, but surely the club realises next season will be our best chance of promotion - they should go for it.

Worthy f*cked up with his signings last summer and I have a horrible feeling we could have a similar disaster this time around.

As a footnore, my sources tell me Thomas wants to sign, but Worthy is not sure if he's up to it. Oh, and Scowie is on the list again!
